    I believe in self efficacy
and having the courage to be what you envision.
The motive to act on the smallest glare of motivation
to bring life to all your lucid creations.
I believe we all should believe in one another
having non judgemental support and prospering hope
as if I were you and you were me:
    that is what I believe.

    I believe everything’s a lie
    The words people spew,
    from Noah’s Ark, a lie.
The U.S. was built on lies,
From birth we’re built on lies our parents tell us.
“Santa Claus brings your presents,” “The Tooth Fairy hides dollar bills under your pillow.”
The air we breathe, slowly killing us from the inside,
    Every small particle a lie.

    I believe you
    Every time you say
    Words so carefully chosen
To keep my heart in play.
    A hint at a future
    Whispered in my ear
As you slip your arm ‘round me
    And pull me near.
    My face flushes,
    My stupid heart soars.
    It’s like I forget
    All the times before.
    Just like always
    I fall into your trap,
    Suddenly I am
    Blind to your crap.
    I have little faith
    That you’ll come through,
    And yet somehow
    I still do
    Because I think
    You believe you too.

Very powerful use of words capturing a very serious and inexplicable human condition.
I have selected this to join the “Best of” section.
      Keep reading! Keep Writing!

I believe that the truth lies in the bottom of every bottle.
    So I seek the truth.
    Resplendently.
