Discovering the Relevance of Words
If you read Thursday’s QOTD, and I sincerely hope you did, you are not having deja vu– or something similar.
Thursday I asked you why you are here, not just physically but metaphorically, emotionally, spiritually, existentially, and actually. Today I am asking literally.
We have been working on The Poetry Question for close to two months now. We have amassed 900 Facebook likes, 600 Twitter followers, 197 Blog followers, 20k blog views, and around 700 comments on TPQ.com that weren’t written by us. That’s nice. I guess.
The goal here is not fame, and the goal is certainly not fortune. The tagline really says is all: Discovering the Relevance of Words in the 21st Century.
So, let’s explore. Together.
The Poetry Question started as a question being discussed on Twitter. It is now something bigger. Ideally.
The Poetry Question is an exploration- a dialogue. We are here for you. But why are you here?
What do you come to TPQ for?
(We have Twenty Thousand Views and under 800 comments. Tap, tap, tap, is this thing on?)
QOTD – Questions of the Day – This is not an ordered list, answer in whatever manner you like, but please respond
Come here often? Why do you come here? Are you a lurker (one who views but ne’er comments)? Why? Where are you from and what do you do? What part does poetry play in your life? Any requests*?
*seriously, if you ask nicely I might write you a haiku. Really nicely might score a sonnet.
