INTERVIEW (AUDIO): Killer Mike – On Not Being Afraid to Be Himself




Killer Mike has been all over hip-hop news lately for his unwillingness to download the Jay Z Samsung App. His beef was far more with the need of the internet to have so much personal information. Obviously, with the NSA leaks of the last few months, his hesitance has been echoed by the nation.

On the hip hop front, he just released Run the Jewels with fellow rap vet El-P. This album is hands down my favorite Hip Hop album of the year – lyrics, music, message, and pure hunger for the game.
