    “second chances”

    My world began to crash.
He had his face in his hands,
    clearly dissatisfied,
    then he replaced me.
    (a damned dog named Daisy)

    It phased me deep, amazed
    how he cut my veins
    so clean, blood-lines
    burst by family fighting.
(Dad’s healed to beige before mid-morning)

    So I’m limiting exposure
    to my family explosion.
    They can’t help crashing,
and spilling hate all over me.

    I prefer peace and order.
New love to fell the former.
Time to gather up my tools
and plan, as I do, soberly.

    Time to make a family.
replace the one that hated me.
    by work, breath and humanity,
    I’ll sow seed exponentially.
