About Doran Simmons

I'm a writer and a camper and a keeper of fish. I was trained as a flight instructor and work day jobs and write nonsense for public consumption (hopefully).

It inspires me to try and do that, get skills like that, and not breathe while people put spoons on me!

Why does this make Dave Matthews Band play in my head?

(“Spoon in spoon / Stirring my coffee / I thought of you / And turned to the gate”)

More importantly, why does this make Jimmy Fallon as Dave Matthews, playing said Dave Matthews Band song, play in my head?

What plays in your head, Spoon Man?

Now Chris Cornell is in my head.

I swear to God, I can make everything come back to Audioslave somehow.

Get out of my head, Audioslave; I never did anything to you.
