    “One Wish Romeo”

    If I could change
    just one thing,
    I would change what I believe is
    a changeling, able to flex
    without breaking.

    I’d bust the shell
    of calcium I built around myself,
    and hatch with
    a blind man’s staff in hand
    to find my path,
    my left brain doing the right math,

    50 shades of boring grey
    becoming a color splash.
    I’d fashion happiness
    by alchemy,
