One night in the middle of summer, a group of friends and I decided to go camping. It was nice and warm outside but there was a slight wind that would bring on an occasional chill. Once all of our tents were up, everyone decided it was time for dinner and even though we had a barbecue, everyone knows no camping dinner is complete without s’mores so we had to build a campfire. That meant we had to send somebody to go find firewood. John, the attractive jock decided to go with his slightly less attractive friend Steve to find some. About a half hour after they left, me and Trisha, who had stayed behind noticed that it was taking John and Steve a pretty long time to get firewood. Once another hour had passed Trisha said “I think we should go look for them, I’m scared.” “If something bad happened I doubt there would be much we could do to stop it” I replied. But Trisha didn’t listen to me and she went on ahead into the forest. After about another hour I heard screaming out in the forest and as I was about to go see what it was when as I turned toward the forest, it sounded like there was a crowd of people yelling at me “don’t go in there!” as if they were watching everything that happened. So I decided to drive home. The other three were never heard from again. I survived by listening to the crowd whose yelling seemed to be almost like it was coming from a theater.
From an alternate reality where stupid people in horror movies listen to the people in the crowd telling them not to go where they’re going and survive.
