Discovering the Relevance of Words

QOTD- Friday the 13th Edition: Superstition

Black cats walking under ladders.

Broken mirrors covered in spilled salt.

A water glass raised in a toast while three smokes are lit off the same match.

I’ve seen a lot of unlucky stuff today. And it’s still morning. I’d be scared if unlucky wasn’t already my default setting.

Are you superstitious? Like Stevie Wonder before you, do you believe in things that you don’t understand?

About Doran Simmons

I'm a writer and a camper and a keeper of fish. I was trained as a flight instructor and work day jobs and write nonsense for public consumption (hopefully).
