Discovering the Relevance of Words
It doesn’t take a genius to spot the pattern.
The more organized my desk is, the less actual work I’m likely doing. Tidying up is a great way for me to ignore the fact that I’m not writing. If my notebooks and manuscripts are tucked away properly in their old beer boxes and my dirty plates are in the sink its a sure sign I’m suffering from a block.
On the other hand, if papers are strewn throughout the room and records and cds are stacked in precarious towers on the coffee table, I’m likely hard at work. Or drunk. Or both. But usually just working.
Which one are you, Lord Chaos or Master Order?
Are you an organized writer, or a disorganized one?
