martin on universe

Brainstorm (or outline, draft, explain) a literary universe that is (in some way or another) different than the world in which we are currently living.  Your writing may be a list of details, a descriptive paragraph, an outline, a sketch including character interactions, a poem by someone living in this culture/universe/reality, the introduction to your novel… or any other form that presents us with a glimpse into your created world.  HAVE FUN!

What if there was a world where status was determined by height? Instead of determining how well off someone was by how much money they had in the bank, they were looked at how tall they were. It wouldn’t be like segregation in terms of benefits or shortcomings, but a noticeable difference would be there.
