QOTD- Mad Men?

Advertising is everywhere.

It has become so pervasive that it gets hard to pick one ad out from the constant white noise of commercials and billboards. I suppose that’s why it a tough game. For every “Where’s the Beef” and “Avoid the Noid” there are thousands of failed slogans and taglines that just didn’t capture the imagination of the public. Short, punchy and memorable. These are the qualities a good add has to have, and it isn’t easy to do. That’s why Don Draper is always knee-deep in hot and cold running chicks. He has a hard job.

I don’t have television anymore so the only ads I come in contact with are the ads on YouTube. The one that stood out to be was the Subservient Chicken ad from Burger King. It was a bit too long so I only watched a minute of it. I just like the name “Subservient Chicken” for some reason.
