REVIEW: BULL – JAMES ROOME (RED CEILING PRESS)

Artistry is ever-present in this brief but powerful book of poems about The Bull (an artist,) and his protégé. Though a quick read, it’s a unique and candid look at this relationship offers quippy anecdotes and humor. Roome easily captures movement and form with his words.

This book makes one wish they knew not just the author but his mentor as well. Perhaps the Bull has much to offer us in terms of guidance in this splash of paint we call our lives.

Bull is available from Red Ceiling Press.
