I HATE U (inspired by the song of the same name)
I’m so sick of the inconsistencies
Like a minute ago you was digging me
Smitten me
How you fall in love and the next minute
You want to get rid of me?
Sickening
Are you kidding me?
I’m done with the jokes
When this guy right here is stand up
We were here to make this a movie
Rotten Tomatoes wouldn’t give it a thumbs up
I’ve been done baby
So tired of remembering you
So tired of
Forgiving you
Listen to the voice in my head
I’ve been done baby
Lost in the lie of us
Lost in disguise and disgust
I’ve been done baby
And if you wonder if I hate you
I used to
Shitty of you to had me feeling like this
If only you had to feel like I did

An artist that knows how to keep her fans waiting for a project in 2021 is TDE recording artist SZA. So far in 2021 she has released two hit singles, “Hit Different” and “Good Days”. While fans will probably have to wait until 2022 for her new album, SZA has been releasing freebies on SoundCloud and other music streaming services. One of the most popular songs released recently was the fan favorite, “I Hate U”.
One of the things I like the most about the R&B singer is her innate ability to sing about real situations that her fans can relate to. Reminiscing of old relationships and the reasons why they failed. It’s a self reflective song that has the listeners ask what part did they play in the relationship. I relate to this song a lot and the melodic tune is something all fans will enjoy.
