REPLAYS: SET IN STONE – DANNY LONDON

SET IN STONE (inspired by the song of the same name)

So when it’s all said and done

It’s done, nothing to be said

You painted the picture of myself

Through that thick little head

Well I’m not gonna plead

I’m too proud to beg

Done drinking off your love

Time to change out the keg

Party over

Out of liquor

Saw so many variants of your ways

Exposed and I couldn’t be sicker

A vaccine from your existence

I couldn’t get quicker

Tried to play ball in the big leagues

Best forget that I’m the pitcher

And the umpire

I’m running the plays

When you became toxic

That was the end of days

Tried to sway me with your anatomy

I seen enough greys

I’ve had enough dark clouds

Clearing away the grays

Tired of stressing over you

Coloring in the greys

And you done mooching off my love

Find somewhere else to graze

As the first month of 2022 comes to close, it’s good to be reminded of what’s happened in the past and what you have planned for the future in the new year. This next artist discusses that since we can’t fix the past, we must focus on changing the future. In comes, Danny London.

The Florida native has become a good friend of mine over the last few years and has been steadily working on his first solo project. Last week, he released his first single, ‘Set In Stone’ from up his upcoming project. Many can relate to situations where one’s actions may have certain consequences to which one must deal with them. The passion and emotion runs high on this mid tempo track.
