REPLAYS: THERAPY MUSIC BY LOGIC & RUSS

THERAPY MUSIC

(inspired by the song of the same name)

Sometimes it feels like

It’s time for a change

My mind was traveling for sometime

And it hasn’t caught a plane

The way the chips have fallen

Lays simple and plain

I have a duality of someone’s success is being someone else’s pain

I continue to write my words

Till I have no more ink

Till I have nothing to think

Until I take my last drink

Until I take my last go around this roller rink

It’s crazy how fast life goes with a blink

182 reasons that I think I’m bound to rock shit

Using scissors to cut my paper just because you can’t rock shit

Try to bite my style so easily just because you can’t rock shit

Leave a sediment in my sentiment for those who say I can’t rock shit

Music been therapy

Knelt down a long time ago

Asked will you marry me

Back from retirement, Logic is prepping to release a new album, Vinyl Days next month. He’s released a trio of singles, including the Russ-assisted track, “Therapy Music”. The song finds the pair being reflective of their lives and the fame. I love the introspective tracks whenever artists create them as it helps me to do the same in my own writing.

I found this so very potent. Music Therapy. I’m there. Can’t live without it every day.
